My career underwent a drastic shift when I left TV and radio to join the Upledger Institute as marketing director in 1989. Impressed by the results I saw attained here, I returned to school to study manual therapy. I have since earned my state and national massage therapy licenses, as well as a master's degree in clinical social work from Barry University. I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been extremely fortunate to be mentored by Dr. Upledger in CranioSacral Therapy and Dr. Bruno Chikly in Lymphatic Drainage Therapy throughout my19 years at UI. I love blending structural and emotional therapy in everyday problem solving, as well as, the most complex trauma. In addition to seeing private clients at UI HealthPlex, I am also active in the clinic's intensive programs.
I frequently lecture on my specialties at conventions, conferences and schools worldwide where I teach CranioSacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release and Healing from the Core to professionals and laypersons. I have also taught ShareCare classes for eight years at the Upledger Institute and one and two day CST and LDT classes.
